Jake was super responsive and helpful in navigating the ups and downs of buying a home. He was patient, calm and kind when we were anxious and panicky , seeing us through the hurdles to a happy resolution. 

On a snowy and cold afternoon three weeks ago, my wife and I made one of our biggest dreams come true by becoming homeowners. Being a first time home-buyer came with a lot of questions that started before the process even began. However, one question we did not have was who would be our realtor. It was Adam Feldman. 

In 2019, Adam, who was property manager at the time, showed my wife and I our very first apartment in the Montpelier area. Throughout his tenure as our property manager, Adam was always quick to respond and deal with issues, as well as being an all-around good guy. When Adam informed us he was becoming a realtor at Greenlight it was bittersweet, we were sad to see him go, but knew we had a great realtor waiting for us when we were ready.

Six years after moving into our apartment, my wife and I were finally ready and reached out to Adam. Within a very short amount of time we were communicating with Adam, discussing our house search “guidelines”, as well as what we needed to do to get the home-buying process started. Once ready, we were viewing the houses we asked Adam about in a very short amount of time. The second house we viewed ended up being the one we now call home. 

I truly believe a large reason why we were able to obtain and execute the contract was due to Adam’s personability, way-of-communication, and relationships with other realtors in the Montpelier/Barre/Central VT area. Adam was very helpful answering questions we had as well as guiding us through the process. Within a day and a half of the close of bidding, we were informed the buyer chose us. Throughout the remainder of the process Adam was there to answer any questions for us we needed!

Ray was very approachable with questions and concerns.  He very knowledgeable of the area and narrowed down our search to just what we wanted. He kept everything within our budget and also pointed out potential problems that we didn't see.  He was able to connect us with painters and carpet companies. Frequently checked in with us to help us get through everything in a low stress and easy manner.  Buying our home with Ray was an enjoyable experience.

We had three different people recommend Lauren before we started working with her and now we know why. She is, simply, the best. Lauren is quick to answer questions and kept us in the loop the whole way through. Lauren knows the area- and market- so well and gave us solid advice, and we ended up with a sale we were really happy about.

Lauren was enthusiastic, positive, helped with additional questions, went above and beyond, was responsive, and was a pleasure to work with! When we had specific questions about the town's regulations on septic, Lauena put us in touch with the city government officials. When we had questions about construction possibilities, Lauren put us in touch with a construction professional who answered our questions. I'd recommend Lauren to anyone!

Regarding the team effort of Bailey and Kate: "There’s not enough I can say about the two ladies and how they became friends, they did a really good job advising us and we were hundred percent satisfied with them, they were very honest they walked us through different scenarios. We are asking them to find us our next home when we return from Florida in the early spring. I have referred them already to others who I know have inquired about them. They are just good people."

Pattie was a pleasure to work with for the sale of our family camp. She brought us three offers, two of them cash! Pattie helped us decide which offer to accept and then saw the transaction to the very end. Her communication and updates were appreciated too!
