I was impressed with Kate Root's thoughtful approach to my house sale. She focused on what was important to me (ie. energy efficiency of my house), combining that assessment with her review of the house, her research, and the hiring of a professional photographer. ( The aerial views of the house were outstanding.) Her listing was timely and well-appointed. My house sold in 3 days. I am grateful to Kate for making this happen.

Kate did a wonderful job assisting us the the sale of our home, from start to finish. We especially appreciated her communication skills. It was great working with someone so responsive. We truly felt like we were working with family ( the good kind!).

I really enjoyed working with Kate and love the home that she found for us and helped us buy. I really appreciated her responsiveness, regular communications, and flexibility, especially since I was house hunting in Vermont from out of state which sometimes created logistical challenges. She did a lot of viewings with me on Zoom on her phone. I also appreciated how quickly she got to know what I was looking for, despite the logistical challenges, so we didn't waste both our time on properties that weren't suitable. I will probably sell and/or buy in Vermont again, and if so, I would definitely work with Kate again.

Kate Root is a business woman that can get the job done. She is a good go realtor to for an aggressive buyers market like right now. Very knowledgeable with the local areas and knows the history and news of the goings on.

She had it under contract in a very short amount of time. Kate was willing to listen to our ideas and always available to answer any questions we had. She is a very warm and patient person. Kate did a very good job lining up the photographer, lawyer, etc. needed to sell the property. She put together an informational flyer, and organized a successful open house. She did a good job communicating what needed to be accomplished leading up to the sale. She also did a very good job negotiating a higher than list price for the property.

Kate represented us on our Sale and also on the Purchase of our new home. We felt Kate exceeded all our expectations. Kate was such a pleasure to work with, she used her expertise to guide us through the process and we couldn’t be happier that we worked with her. We definitely are more than happy with our decision.
