Kate Root helped me buy my first house a few years ago and when the time came to sell, I immediately reached out to her again. She made both processes so easy and answered all my endless first-time buyer/seller questions. She also helped me with the important stuff -- getting my offer accepted and then pricing my house to sell at the price I wanted but also getting it under contract in less than a week! She is an expert on the area and understands the market incredibly well. She also has a great team working with her and provided invaluable recommendations for lawyers, inspectors, etc. Although I don't want to move again anytime soon, I already miss working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in Central Vermont.

Working with Kate Root was a delight. She was recommended to me by a friend, and from our first conversation I felt like we were on the same track and that I was being heard. Kate was always willing to share her thoughts and do her best to put them in the context of what would be best for me, though she also listened and went along with looking at some properties that I was interested in but, she later told me, did not necessarily think were the best options for me, though she agreed that some of my instincts were good (until we got the inspector's report). Her knowledge of the area and local market as well as ability to give me names of some contractors and service people to contact. She helped make the entire process of relocating from Arizona and finding a home a very positive experience. Though my closing was a couple of weeks ago, she still is available for any questions I have and we are looking forward to getting together when the work is done on the house.

Kate was awesome! We didn’t know what to expect as we’ve never sold a home before. Being in the same home for 38 years, it was a bit scary. However, Kate is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and willing to help with anything. She answered all our questions no matter what time day or night, seven days a week.
