Mattie helped me turn a difficult situation from disaster to triumph. It's unfair to say she "helped me" actually because she did everything. I am an American living in Europe. About 11 years ago, I bought a lovely house in Washington County and rented it to a small family. Everything went well until they moved on after about five years. In the last several years, I had two tenants who seemed fine at first, but due to difficult circumstances and the pandemic, one moved out without warning and I was left with a non-paying tenant who added a roommate unknown to me. Mattie was extremely knowledgeable about how to handle these potential squatters, and I was able to get them to move out without incident. Her local knowledge is very impressive. Every recommendation she gave me from a lawyer to cleaning crews was excellent. She led me through the selling process with patience and skill. Mattie was always reachable and able to work through any complications due to my presence overseas. I felt comfortable asking her questions and expressing my wishes and concerns. By the time we were ready to set a selling price, I knew to trust her judgment. My house sold very quickly, and I was able to come out of it with my mortgage paid and money for my next investment. Mattie cares about the community. I was heartbroken about selling my house even though it was the right thing for me to do. Now, I feel so happy that it is owned by people who can restore it to its former glory. When I first met Maddie, I was a little worried she might be too young to have the experience and knowledge to be the right person to deal with my situation. Boy, was I wrong! I am so glad I chose her as my agent.

All key factors for buying a house in today’s market in Vermont. This is a rural state with very limited inventory. Hannah was willing to go all over the state for us (sorry about that ,lol). Her family is several generations Vermonters and she knows the state and market very well. As first time home buyers she was incredibly helpful at walking us through the offer process and breaking down possible contingencies. In this day and age where everyone has access to all the same listings speed and NEGOTIATIONS are going to make the difference. Mattie went above and beyond for us every step of the way for our home buying process. We met back in October of 2021 during the early phase of our big move to Vermont from the south, and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about a lot of different areas of the state and helped us narrow our search. She remained communicative, positive/cheerful, patient and flexible as we switched areas at one point based on our job searches. She always offered to visit places in person for us both before and after our one week visit to house hunt in person, and if it weren’t for her we truly wouldn’t have the home of our dreams!
